To change it, you would have to recompile the applicable scripts. This leads me to to believe the transparency of the entire HUD - including the in-game text messages - is hard-coded. Note: anything white in the alpha layer will show up, anything black will be transparent. With huddraw 1 the HUD is in all probability at maximum opacity. Step4: On the bottom right of photoshop there is a box, that has 3 tabs, click on the middle one title "Channels" The map textures are another thing were bringing up to Source quality. We work hard in our spare time to get every single high quality model that was made for Half-Life 1 (goldsource) and port it to the Source engine with enhanced textures and shaders.
